With an intense interest in the natural world and a passion for photography it was only a matter of time before both were combined to provide a path for my future. My love for flowers and gardens was nurtured by my late father with who I spent many a happy summers day pottering around digging and planting and generally making a nuisance of myself.
I am not sure where I got my interest in nature and the natural world its just always been there. Wildlife, Wildflowers, Fungi and almost anything else I can find will always be a fascination and a subject for my camera.
Along the way other interests take hold and it was not long before I was swallowed up into the world of mycology or the study of Fungi. In 2009 I founded the Sussex Fungus Group. Although I have now moved on, the group has a new leader and is thriving.
In December 2013 I moved to North Wales within the Snowdonia National Park.
I am lucky enough to have visited and photographed some of the most beautiful gardens in the country and as a result most have appeared in a variety of popular books and magazines.
I am an approved photographer for the National Garden Scheme and am always interested in seeing and photographing any of the gardens involved with the NGS.
I am happy to take on commissions for private garden owners, magazines and publishers world wide.
My images are represented by three major picture agencies.
